I am Akash Mahajan. I am a Certified Ethical Hacker and I have experience in hacking websites and databases and building systems to assess their security. I have more than five years of experience in Application and Network Security and more than 10 years in building websites and handling windows and linux servers. Before starting out as a Full Time Security Consultant, I was a technical lead heading the development of three enterprise security products for StillSecure Inc. I was also a part of the Emerging Threats group which is a US DoD funded group to create Intrusion Detection Software signatures for the latest malware threats on the internet.

I am a director and co-founder at Headstart Network Foundation, a non-profit to support entrepreneurship in Bangalore. I am the Chapter Lead for null Bangalore and core organizer of OWASP Bangalore. I also mentored for the Computer Security Sessions at iAcccelerator 2008 program of IIM Ahmedabad.

I won the pre Null Hack Challenge for the 2010 Null Conference, the 2009 Yahoo! Hack Day and have been consistently appreciated for the high quality of work delivered.
